Karen Ruiz is an associate practicing in the areas of insurance coverage and bad faith litigation. Prior to joining Weston & Agness LLP (formerly Weston & McElvain LLP), Karen practiced at a medical malpractice defense firm representing insurance carriers and healthcare providers. Karen obtained her law degree from Loyola Law School with a concentration in civil litigation and advocacy. She also served as a clinical worker at Loyola Immigrant Justice Clinic where she successfully provided pro bono legal services to undocumented clients seeking immigration relief.
